How to get more out of your Sauna Tent

A Sauna Tent Shouldn't just be unused in the store between seasons. It is built to be used frequently - all year round. Here we go through how you get the temperature quickly, how you bastard even when there is a snowstorm outside, what accessories actually make a difference, and how you take care of the tent to extend the life.

Optimize the heat in the sauna tent

To get the heat up quickly and stable, you need to start with dry wood. Preferably björk, But the most important thing is that the wood is really dry. Moist wood provides poorer combustion, less heat and more soot.

Start with smaller wood pieces to quickly get a good glow bed. When the filament is established, insert larger firewood to keep warm. Adjust the ventilation so that the fire gets enough oxygen, but without too much hot air leaking. The tent's ventilation hatches make it easy to regulate the temperature.

If the temperature does not reach to the desired level, it is usually a simple solution: add more wood.

Extend the sauna season - Basta all year round

The tent works great even when it is minus degrees and snow. Our tents are tested down to -36 degrees. It only requires a little extra preparation.

If the tent is to be set up during the winter, use the weather protection. It protects the cloth from snow, rain and UV radiation and allows the tent to stand out for longer periods without damaging. The weather protection is also good if you want to make the tent more permanently.

Think about the substrate. When it is slippery, it may be good to lay out trolley, rubber mat or some other non -slip just outside the tent. Fire a little longer before you go in - it takes a few minutes extra to get the heat, but it also holds better when the cold is at its worst.

Accessories for Sauna Tent

The right accessory makes a big difference, especially if you are often basting.

A two-level bench makes you come up in height where it is warmer, while sitting comfortably. It is easy to bring and makes the experience better right away.

A thermometer gives track of the temperature so you know when it's time to put on more firewood or take a break. It also helps if you are bunching with others - not everyone wants to best at 100 degrees.

The water tank that is mounted directly on the stove makes it possible to heat water while you are struggling. Perfect if you want to be able to rinse with warm water immediately after the workout, or even take a hot shower adjacent to the sauna. The tank holds several liters and heats up quickly when the stove is running.

If you want a more permanent sauna lineup, a simple wooden floor is a good investment. It provides a stable surface, protects against moisture from the ground and makes it more comfortable to go in and out of the tent - especially during autumn and winter.

Do you want to combine the sauna with ice bath and have long to the nearest lake or sea? Our ice bath is inflatable, holds 450 liters, and has hard walls so you can sit stable even when the water is cold. It is quick to fill and is easy to empty.

For longer sessions or social sauna evenings, a water -resistant speaker or a storage box for snacks and drinks may be worth bringing.

How to extend the life of the tent

Sauna Tent which is often used and taken care of properly lasts longer. Here is the most important thing to keep in mind.

If the tent is set up permanently - use the weather protection. It protects the canvas from UV radiation, rain and snow, which reduces the wear and risk of damage. It also allows you to bite whenever you want, without having to travel the tent every time.

If the tent is close to the sea, salt can affect steel parts, especially the stove. Salt is found both in the water and in the air. Therefore, wipe the stove regularly and consider covering it when not in use. It reduces the risk of surface rust and keeps the steel in better condition over time. Also sweep the chimney at regular intervals.

After each sauna session: Way out of the tent. Leave the door open for a while so that the moisture is released. If you pack the tent - be sure to dry the inside with a towel before putting it into the bag. A damp tent that is packed together and not vented can start smelling or molding after a while.

If you know that you will not use the sauna tent for a few weeks, we always recommend that you take it in and store it in a dry space. We also always recommend taking in the sauna tent if it is to blow up to a storm or get a lot of snow for a short time. So do you have the opportunity to take in Sauna Tent, Do it.

Summary

The sauna tent is developed for use - often, long and in all weather. By burning right, choosing accessories that suit your needs and take care of the material correctly, you get a sauna that lasts a long time and provides better experiences for each time.

Heat between the sessions

After each surf session, they gathered in our Sauna Tent. It became a place to regain warmth, rest their muscles, and talk through what they had just experienced. Maybe even reflect on why they truly chase those perfect waves.

And for us, that's exactly what the sauna is all about. Not just heat – but the rhythm of recovery, performance, and community. A place to land.

That our Sauna Tent got to be part of such a journey – together with some of the world's most dedicated surfers – is something we are incredibly proud of.

Who are they?

Freddie Meadows

is Sweden's most experienced professional surfer. After ten years on the competition scene, he chose to follow his heart and start exploring Scandinavian coastlines – with the goal of finding world-class waves in our northern waters.

Nic von Rupp

Hailing from Portugal, he is known for surfing some of the biggest waves ever at Nazaré. He is a multiple championship winner, documentary filmmaker, and has twice been nominated for the World Surf League's "Big Wave Performance of the Year."

Andrew Cotton

Born in the United Kingdom, he is a pioneer of Big Wave Surfing in Europe. He has towed surfing legends into record-breaking waves, gained global recognition, and pushed the boundaries of what British surfing can be – while balancing his career with life as a parent of young children.

Sauna + surf = an obvious combination

There is something special about the contrast between cold and heat, performance and stillness. The chaos of the waves meets the calm of the tent. And for those who surf in Arctic conditions, the sauna is not a luxury – it is a necessity.

Where will the next wave happen? We don’t know. And we’re not supposed to know. But one thing is certain: our Sauna Tent will be there.

Authentic Sauna Tent Experience.

The perfect solution for those who want to enjoy a sauna anywhere, anytime, and with anyone.
