The song has become a tribute to the Nordic sauna culture and has inspired people all over the world to embrace the relaxing and wonderful experience of Basta. With its easy -going speech and humorous direction has KAJ Created a memorable song for many sauna lovers.
The song, with its humorous theme around the sauna, reflects a deeply rooted tradition in the Nordic countries, and helps to create a common reference point that unites people from different backgrounds through the universal joy of Basta. This is a perfect reflection of how the sauna spreads throughout Europe, where the sauna culture is not only seen as a relaxation but also as a community.
The sauna has really spread far beyond the Nordic border and has become a phenomenon that engages people throughout Europe. In the Nordic countries, especially in Sweden and Finland, sauna is something included in everyday life, a place for relaxation and stillness. But in countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States and southern Europe, we see that the sauna culture is driven more by community and social interaction.
This is our ours Sauna Tent comes in. They allow people to embrace the social and cultural aspect of a sauna no matter where they are. In Sweden, there Sauna Tent is part of our cultural heritage, for example, Gislaved Municipality has gone a step further by renting out our Sauna Tent Free to spread the Finnish cultural heritage. In conjunction with the rental, the participants get a chance to best together, and a glossary of ordinary sauna terms is distributed. This is an example of how Sauna Tent Not only offers a place for relaxation, but also acts as a tool for preserving and spreading the Nordic sauna culture.
Throughout Europe we also see how our Sauna Tent used to create a place for community and purpose. In the UK, our partners have used the sauna tents as a community sauna, where people can gather, meet and enjoy a sauna together. In Germany has Sauna Tent Become popular as portable saunas for festivals and events, which helps to spread a sauna to a wider audience.
A particularly touching example of how our Sauna Tent used is our partnership with Re-Power, Who uses the sauna tent to give Ukrainian healthcare professionals a place to recover and find calm in difficult circumstances. This use of the sauna tent as a sanctuary for people who need recovery reminds us of the power of the sauna to reconcile and give comfort.
We love to see how our Sauna Tent Used to spread the sauna culture and create new communities. Whether it is a library that rents out a Sauna Tent To introduce new generations to the Finnish culture, or if it is our partners in the UK that offers Sauna Tent As part of a common social initiative, we are proud to be part of the sauna that spreads across Europe.

Heat between the sessions
After each surf session, they gathered in our Sauna Tent. It became a place to regain warmth, rest their muscles, and talk through what they had just experienced. Maybe even reflect on why they truly chase those perfect waves.
And for us, that's exactly what the sauna is all about. Not just heat – but the rhythm of recovery, performance, and community. A place to land.
That our Sauna Tent got to be part of such a journey – together with some of the world's most dedicated surfers – is something we are incredibly proud of.
Who are they?
Freddie Meadows
is Sweden's most experienced professional surfer. After ten years on the competition scene, he chose to follow his heart and start exploring Scandinavian coastlines – with the goal of finding world-class waves in our northern waters.
Nic von Rupp
Hailing from Portugal, he is known for surfing some of the biggest waves ever at Nazaré. He is a multiple championship winner, documentary filmmaker, and has twice been nominated for the World Surf League's "Big Wave Performance of the Year."
Andrew Cotton
Born in the United Kingdom, he is a pioneer of Big Wave Surfing in Europe. He has towed surfing legends into record-breaking waves, gained global recognition, and pushed the boundaries of what British surfing can be – while balancing his career with life as a parent of young children.
Sauna + surf = an obvious combination
There is something special about the contrast between cold and heat, performance and stillness. The chaos of the waves meets the calm of the tent. And for those who surf in Arctic conditions, the sauna is not a luxury – it is a necessity.
Where will the next wave happen? We don’t know. And we’re not supposed to know. But one thing is certain: our Sauna Tent will be there.
Authentic Sauna Tent Experience.
The perfect solution for those who want to enjoy a sauna anywhere, anytime, and with anyone.
